Travel information

Riverside is approximately 20 miles from Ontario, California (ONT) airport. Ontario is well connected to all major US airport hubs. The Mission Inn runs free shuttle service from the airport. You will have to call them and make reservation.

Los Angeles airport (LAX) is 65 miles away from Riverside and paid shuttle services are available.

Also, Orange County airport (SNA) is 45 miles from Riverside.

From LAX (Los Angeles International Airport) -- if you are driving (distance is about 69 miles):
Take the airport exit leading to Sepulveda Blvd South (1 South).
This leads to the freeway I 105 E.
Keep on I 105 E until you see the exit for I 605 S.
Take I 605 S.
Take the exit for California 91 E.
Stay on 91 E for about 45 Miles.
Take the exit towards University Ave/Downtown.
Stay straight to go to Mulberry St.
Take a left onto University Avenue.
Turn right onto Lime St.
Turn left onto Mission Inn Ave.

To take a shuttle:
Please proceed to the VAN STOP outside the terminal at LAX.
I suggest Super Shuttle (Blue). You can contact the agent there and inform him that you would like to come to Riverside. It usually takes about 20 minutes before you can get a shuttle van. The fare is about $60 to Riverside. The time that it takes would depend upon how many other passengers will have to be dropped by the driver before coming to Riverside. The same directions may be used if the driver is unaware of where Mission Inn is.

If you are coming from LA on 60 E, take the University Avenue Exit. Take a right turn onto University, then a right onto Lime St and follow directions above.

Hotel information

The conference will be held at the Mission Inn, Riverside. This is a historic hotel with excellent architecture and great facilities. A block of rooms has been reserved for the attendees. You have to contact the hotel directly to make your room reservation. Mission Inn will also provide a complimentary shuttle to and from the Ontario Airport for registered guests; please contact the hotel for further information. The cutoff date for the special conference rate is October 10, 2001. The number of rooms is limited and the special rates will not be guaranteed, if the numbers of rooms assigned to the conference are filled before the deadline. We suggest you to reserve a room as early as possible.

These rates do not include the applicable taxes (approx 11%). These rates are also available 3 days prior and 3 days after the conference on availability basis.

For reservation you have to contact the Mission Inn directly at the toll free number 1-800-843-7755 (or 1-909-787-4107). Please mention "IEEE Computer Society ICNP" in order to get the conference rate. The hotel requires a deposit in advance to guarantee reservation.

In case the reserved rooms at Mission Inn are sold out, you may contact Holiday Inn (1-877-291-7519), approximately 5 minutes walk from the Mission Inn, or Courtyard Marriott (1-909-276-1200), 1510 University Ave, 20 minutes walk from the Mission Inn.
